Miranda N. Bishara, MD specializes in cataract surgery, intraocular lens implants, corneal disease and surgery including transplants, refractive vision correction (LASIK) and anterior segment surgery. Dr. Bishara is a Board Certified Ophthalmologist. She earned her medical degree at the University of Missouri-Kansas City. She completed her residency at the University of Kansas Medical Center and her fellowship in corneal and refractive surgery at Pepose Vision Institute in St. Louis, Missouri. She is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the Kansas City Society of Ophthalmology and Otolaryngology, and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery.

Dr. Bishara served as an attending physician at the University of Kansas Department of Ophthalmology before joining Cokingtin Eye Center in 2017. She proudly served as the chief ophthalmologist for the Kansas City Royals and the Kansas City Chiefs from 2012 to 2017. She is on the faculty of the University of Kansas Department of Ophthalmology and is involved in resident training.
